Therapy for Teens in Walnut Creek (Ages 14–17)
A safe space to sort through the hard stuff & feel more like yourself again.
Being a teenager can be challenging. You’re figuring out who you are while juggling school, friends, family expectations, and maybe even feelings that are hard to put into words.
If you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or just not like yourself lately— you're not alone. Therapy can help.
Here’s What We Can Work On Together
Therapy is a space just for you—to talk, vent, be heard, and work through whatever’s been weighing on you:
Feeling anxious, stressed, or not good enough
School pressure, perfectionism, or burnout
Friend problems or feeling left out
Trouble communicating with family
Identity, body image, or self-esteem challenges
Going through a tough experience or life change
Feeling angry or irritable
Wondering who you are or where you fit in
You don’t have to have it all figured out to start. You just have to show up as you are.
How Teen Therapy Works
We’ll take it one step at a time. No pressure. No judgment. Just a space where you can talk honestly, feel supported, and get tools to help you manage whatever you’re dealing with— whether that’s calming your anxiety, sorting out strong emotions, or feeling more confident in your decisions and relationships.
We might talk. We might use creative, mindfulness, or breathwork approaches. Every session is tailored to you—your strengths, your goals, and what feels most helpful.
Therapy can help you
Feel more sure of yourself
Stand up for yourself— even when it’s hard
Stay steady through stress and pressure
Learn how to handle conflict without losing yourself
Start feeling more in control of your life
Therapy gives you space to pause, gain support, and start feeling more in control of your own story.
When you're ready, I’m here.
For Parents
Parents, I know how hard it can be to watch your teen struggle and feel unsure of how to support them best. I’m a parent, I get it.
While therapy sessions are private, I will keep you in the loop in a way that supports your teen’s privacy and helps you feel more connected to what they need.
The teenage years can be full of growth and discovery, and they can also bring emotional ups and downs, identity questions, and social pressures. Whether your teen is struggling with anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, school challenges, or just trying to figure out who they are, therapy can be a safe and supportive space to help them work through it all.

Every teen is different, so therapy will be tailored to your child’s needs. We might talk about their worries, work on calming anxiety, improve coping skills, explore identity and self-esteem, or navigate relationship issues. My focus is on helping them feel truly supported and better able to handle the ups and downs of life with confidence.

Confidentiality is essential for teens to feel safe opening up. That said, I always explain the limits of confidentiality up front—including situations involving safety concerns. When appropriate, I may also encourage your teen to involve you in certain conversations or share helpful updates.
-
It depends on your teen’s goals and what they’re going through. Some teens feel better after just a few months; others may benefit from longer support. We’ll check in regularly to make sure therapy is helpful and aligned with what they need most.
