Chronic Pain Coaching for
Neuroplastic Pain & Symptoms

Practical, science-backed coaching to help you understand chronic pain and neuroplastic symptoms, build confidence in your body, and move toward lasting relief.

When Chronic Pain or Persistent Symptoms Hold You Back

Living with chronic pain or persistent symptoms can be frustrating and exhausting, especially when you've tried different treatments without finding lasting relief.

Chronic pain and symptoms have a way of taking over. You might be bracing for the next flare-up, skipping things you used to love, or quietly wondering if they’ll ever stop running your life.

There is hope. Chronic pain coaching incorporates Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) and other science-backed, mind-body strategies to help you reduce fear around symptoms, rebuild trust in your body, and gradually return to the activities that matter most to you.

Understanding Neuroplastic Pain and Persistent Symptoms

Many people are surprised to learn that chronic pain and other persistent symptoms can continue even after the body has healed or when medical tests don't reveal a clear cause.

All pain is produced by the brain as part of its protective response. Sometimes the brain becomes overly protective and keeps sending danger signals even when there is no ongoing tissue damage. This is known as neuroplastic pain.

Neuroplastic pain is real pain, and it can occur whether or not there is an injury or physical condition contributing to your symptoms.

The good news is that the brain can change. Through neuroplasticity, it is possible to retrain the brain to interpret sensations with less fear and threat, helping reduce pain and other symptoms over time.

Chronic pain coaching helps you put this understanding into practice through education, guided exercises, and practical strategies that support greater confidence in your body.

How Chronic Pain Coaching Can Help

Chronic pain coaching incorporates principles and techniques from Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), along with practical tools and personalized support. PRT is a science-backed approach that helps retrain the brain to interpret sensations as safe rather than harmful, reducing fear and helping break the cycle of pain.

I also draw on integrative health coaching, mindfulness, and other mind-body approaches to help you develop skills you can use in everyday life.

The goal is to help you feel more confident, move beyond the limitations of symptoms, and return to the activities that matter most to you.

Building Skills for Lasting Change

Chronic pain coaching is personalized to your needs and goals. Together, we can focus on practical skills and strategies to help you:

  • Reduce fear around pain and symptoms by learning to respond to sensations with greater confidence.

  • Practice somatic tracking to approach physical sensations with curiosity and a sense of safety.

  • Build confidence in movement and activity by gradually returning to activities you’ve been avoiding.

  • Develop practical skills and healthy habits that support your well-being and long-term progress.

I'm a certified Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) clinician with advanced training through the Pain Reprocessing Therapy Center. I'm also trained in Integrative Health Coaching through Duke Health & Wellbeing, where I developed a strong foundation in whole-person health, behavior change, and enhancing well-being.

As a registered nurse and therapist, I bring a unique mind-body perspective to chronic pain and neuroplastic symptom coaching.

My coaching style is warm, collaborative, and practical. We'll work together to identify your goals, build on your strengths, and develop strategies that fit your life.

Your Path Forward: Coaching or Therapy

Chronic pain coaching and therapy are different services, though both can support people living with chronic pain and persistent symptoms.

Coaching is forward-looking and emphasizes education, practical skills, behavior change, and working toward your personal goals. Coaching does not include therapy or treatment for mental health conditions.

Chronic pain therapy also incorporates education, practical skills, and mind-body approaches, while providing clinical treatment that can address mental health concerns such as anxiety, traumatic stress, and emotional challenges related to chronic pain.

I offer chronic pain therapy exclusively to clients located in California and chronic pain coaching nationwide.
